I’m DK Masters, author of every story published on this site.
I created Transformation Paradise to share my sci-fi/fantasy and transformation stories with the world. It started as a passion project and grew into all that it is today — and it’s still growing!
I love this genre and these kinds of stories. Such a fun world to play in.
I’ve been writing transformation stories, paranormal romances, and sci-fi/fantasy adventures for over two decades now!
My Life Beyond Writing
I’m also a working actor, screenwriter, and film director in Los Angeles. I’m nobody famous, but I love what I do and get to work with a lot of creative and talented people. I’m so grateful I get to do this full-time and can’t wait to see where this adventure takes me next!
When I’m not writing something for Transformation Paradise, I’m probably acting in a show or directing another film. It took me more than a decade of hard (and unpaid) work to get here, but I finally “made it” and want to keep growing as an artist.
My Influences
Personally, I love all kinds of stories that include gender transformations, mind control, super powers, time travel, fantasy/mythological creatures, sci-fi aliens, and of course, all with some tasteful sex and nudity mixed in. 😉
I’d love to give a special thanks to classic sites like The Wotch, Naga’s Den, El Goonish Shive, and many others for introducing me to the wonderful world of transformation art and fiction, and for providing years of joyful entertainment.
I’d also like to thank more mainstream comics, shows, and movies — like (in no particular order) the X-Men, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Doctor Who (David Tennant is my favorite, but they’re all great, of course), Harry Potter, Stargate SG-1, Warehouse 13, The Librarians, Star vs The Forces of Evil (it’s a surprisingly cute and fun show, even for an adult), Gravity Falls, Back to the Future, and so many others — for creating such amazing characters and vast, imagination-rich worlds.
My life is richer and far more enjoyable because of the time, talent, and hard work of so many creative artists. They’ve all inspired me and my imagination.
It’s my humble hope that I can now return the favor, give back to the community, and entertain and inspire others like they have for me.
My Name
“DK Masters” is my pen name. Wanna know a secret? I came up with this name years ago when I was playing Donkey Kong Country 2, a classic game on the Super Nintendo. It’s really fun. I’d been playing it a while, and as with anything you practice at long enough, I started to get really good at it. One day, I was pulling off some amazing gaming skills, perfectly timing my jumps, knowing where to find all the hidden secrets, beating the bosses without breaking a sweat… and I actually thought to myself, “wow, I’ve become a master at this!”
I’d been searching for a pen name to use at the time. “DK” — Donkey Kong — “Masters” was born.
And now you know.
Why I Write What I Write
I’ve always been fascinated by transformation stories — the idea that someone could become something entirely different, something they never imagined they could be. There’s something deeply satisfying about watching (or reading about) a character discover a new identity, a new purpose, a new way of existing in the world.
Gender transformations are particularly interesting to me. They explore questions about identity, desire, freedom, and what it truly means to be yourself. They’re playful, thought-provoking, and yes, intensely erotic when done right.
But beyond the kink and the fantasy, I want my stories to make you feel something real. I want you to connect with the characters. I want you to care about what happens to them. I want you to close the book feeling satisfied — not just sexually, but emotionally and spiritually too.
Through my work, I want to make people feel good and help my fans and audiences to feel loved, seen, connected, valued, inspired, playful, and entertained.
My Writing Style
Readers often describe my writing as:
- Immersive — like watching a movie in your mind
- Page-turning — you won’t want to put it down
- Casual and relatable — like talking to a friend
- Emotionally authentic — characters feel real
- Intensely steamy — when things heat up, they really heat up
- Playful — there’s humor and lightness even in serious moments
I’ve been writing prose fiction for 30 years and have built up tremendous skill and speed. I’m now able to write up to 10,000 to 15,000 words per week — sometimes even more when inspiration strikes!
What I’m Building
I’m currently building and expanding my own fictional sci-fi/fantasy universe filled with:
- A variety of transformations (gender, age, mythological, and more)
- Sci-fi alien races
- Supernatural creatures like angels and demigods
- Magical fantasy creatures like mermaids and fairies
- Super-powered heroes and villains
- Adventure, exploration, romance, and mystery
All the stories on Transformation Paradise exist in this shared universe. You can read them in any order, but the more you read, the more connections you’ll discover. There’s a bigger story unfolding — a meta-narrative about why so many transformations are happening and what it all means.
It’s a mystery waiting for you to uncover.
